PRIVATE  RAFFLESIA TOUR

VISIT THE PLACE OF YOUR CHOICE & YOUR SWEET TIME

TOUR HIGHLIGHT

Rafflesia Adventure Tour ( Seasonal )

Tour begins at 8:45am. Guest will be fetched from hotel or guest house by 4x4 off-road vehicle.

The drive takes about 45 minutes to the native village where a native guide will join and lead us to the big Rafflesia flower, then off-road ride for 20 minutes.

Note : At times, the road becomes too slippery and proves difficult to drive due to excessive rain / monsoon . If that's the case then extra 30 minutes’ walk required to see the big Rafflesia flower.

Trekking to the flower takes around 2~4 hours ( to and fro ) and it depends on the location of the flower as it only last for 5 ~ 7 days, and then the native people have to search for a newly bloom flower.

On the way back from the flower, we will stop at the waterfall for a swim.

Note : River is not crystal clear during monsoon or heavy rain the night before.

Back to the 4x4 vehicle and drive down to native village and visit to the village where a blowpipe demonstration is carried out.

Lunch stop ( not included ) sometimes due to delay at the Rafflesia trekking

Late lunch will be at Tea Cafe where you can go for sandwich, hot dogs, cakes etc...  ( it is recommended you to bring light food )

At the B.O.H Tea Plantation, approximately 1 hour will be given for lunch and factory tour ( 5~10 minutes ), tea shop and panoramic view point of the B.O.H tea plantation. Note : Factory & Cafe is closed on Mondays.

Then we will proceed to the Butterfly farm ( RM 5 entrance fee ) to observe not only butterflies but insects, beetles, scorpion's and snakes. This will take about 30 ~ 40 minutes. Last stop is at the Strawberry farm where you can taste the home made strawberry jam and strawberry milkshake etc....

The tour normally ends between 5:30 ~ 6:30 pm.

                                                            - Hand-Towel

                             d.Extra clothing
